Having a hobby is one of the best things on the world. Cookies with ginger and cinnamon can be a good proof of it. Do you think that ginger has something exquisite, while subtly introducing the festive atmosphere of eating? However, cookies have not been opted for bland colors. The result was colorful and with delicious taste and more and more cookies which every moment silently disappeared ... :)
All of you who consider the use of food dyes, etc.,I urge you to bake these cookies in a simply way without add food colorings. Thern it will be equaly delicious and probably also a bit healthier.
Ingredients for about 30 cookies:
- 90g of soft butter
- 100g of caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1.5 teaspoons of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 200g of plain flour
- 1 / 2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 / 2 teaspoon of salt
Blend butter with sugar to fluffy cream-colored mass. Then add the remaining ingredients and combine it well until a uniform and soft. Rolled-out dough to about 5mm, cut in any various shapes, than lay cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Insert into oven preheated to 180C and bake for about 8 minutes, until it become golden.
Ingredients for frosting:
- 1 egg white
- pinch of salt
- a few drops of rum essential oil
- 15 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- food colorings (green, red)
Whisk egg whites to stiff with salt and oil. At the end of whisking gradually add sugar. The resulting white frosting split into three parts and to each of them add a few drops of the appropriate food coloring.
Ingredients for chocolate icing that you can decorate and use the cats to perform stalks of apples you will find in post for the mini donuts.
Suggestions: After decorate cookies put it on the side to set at room temperature. Later, you can store it for example in cans.
