Pizza with Cheese and Salami




I always try to cook with passion. Especially when I cook something for the people who I like most. I like when a simple dish is able to bring a smile or a curiosity on the eaters` faces. This pizza also have a certain message: says that I love you and I always care about you. 





Ingredients for the dough you can find in a Pizza with Plums and Mint post.


Ingredients for the top:

  • ketchup
  • Herbes de Provence
  • 8 large slices of cheese
  • salami

When the dough doubled its size, put it in the baking tin and spread some ketchup on it. Then sprinkle with some herbs, place the slices of cheese and the salami on its surface. Bake at 180C for about 25 minutes. 




Suggestions: Under the cheese you can add your favorite ingredients.

Version light: Instead of wheat flour use rye flour or mix both half and half.

Question: How can I make hearts with salami?
Answer: The best idea is buying salami which has a ready to eat small slices of it and than each slice cut into hearts with cookie cutter.
