White Bread




I like when home fills with the smell of baked bread. This one you can prepare very quickly so that`s why I make it once again, cause it`s great for breakfasts and suppers. Its taste is really delicate so you can put on it whatever you want.



    Ingredients for 1 large loaf:
    • 40g fresh yeast
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 300g milk
    • 500g plain flour
    • 20g of olive oil
    • pinch of salt
    In a saucepan heat the yeast, sugar and milk until all is lukewarm. Add flour into a bowl with olive oil and salt, then pour the lukewarm milk with yeast and sugar. Kneed everything for an elastic dough, which then let stand in warm place to double in volume.
      When the dough has doubled its volume, shape it as a loaf and place on baking sheet lined with baking paper. Leave it for 10 minutes, than bake at 200C for about 30 minutes.





      Suggestions: After 30 minutes check with the stick whether bread requires a longer baking time. For the dough you can add any spices to enhance its taste.


      Version light: Reduce plain flour by half and replace it with rye flour for example.


      Question: How can I make the bread was even more delicate?
      Answer: Instead of milk, use buttermilk.
